Flooring with a Purpose

Did you know that The Last Inventory really believes in service? Not just loading customers’ purchases.
But much more than that. Even in the infancy of our company’s history, we have believed in the power of prayer and there is power in Jesus’ name. We want to truly, be a blessing. Whether it is traveling to Guatemala with Living Waters Ministry and digging a freshwater well in a remote village, Feeding the homeless in downtown Dallas, remodeling customers’ homes through our Christmas Blessing, and more.

This year a new chapter is being written. This year, we have carefully decided to partner with two AMAZING facilities.

First, Phased In. Founded with the older foster child in mind, Phased In works with teenagers that are aging out of the system. They provide their residents with housing, give them educational opportunities, and they teach them life skills.

They currently are working on another North Texas home to help young people find their place before they are kicked out.

 Isaiah117 House.

Helping children in transition find a safe, inviting place to land. With houses open across the nation, this organization was able to serve nearly 500 children and just under 400 foster families in 2020.

With the need growing, they are working to build more homes. They are currently working to raise awareness and funds for their NEW Dallas home.

Now, that you are semi-familiar with these two AWESOME charities. You are probably wondering, how does this work?

The Last Inventory launched its Community Impact campaign this year with the goal of selling 100% of our In-Stock Hardwood & Engineered Hardwood & donating 25% of the total sales back to 2 Local, North Texas Charities!

The campaign is off to a great start! As the holidays quickly approach, we need your help to finish strong! Are you in the market for hardwoods? Are you looking to surprise that special someone with brand-new flooring for Christmas? Do you have a business that would benefit from one final charitable donation for 2021? Come partner with us!

The Last Inventory would love to bless children in Foster care this Christmas through the ministries of Isaiah 117 House and Phased In. Both of these organizations are doing incredible work to help children and teens that have been removed from their homes, find peace, JOY, and family!

Would you consider buying your material from The Last Inventory? Would you take a step towards this campaign and help us see the lives of young people changed? We want to be a company that gives back to our community, and we are so thankful for each customer of ours that will join us on this journey!

We have gorgeous material waiting on you. Accomplish two things this season. Update your floor plan and give it back!
Curious about the models available? Here’s a sneak peek of what your space could look like….

2020

Every Year we have this incredible opportunity to say thank you to all of our customers who help make our company successful! So our way of showing our gratitude is hosting a fun day full of FREE family-friendly activities, like Photos with Santa, a petting zoo, a video game trailer, and more! Thank you for shopping with us, WE LOVE YOU!

The Last Inventory will be working together to Promote Financial Literacy with Bishop Dunne Catholic High School and Ferris Junior High School!

We strongly believe in investing in our community, and we know that the younger generations are our greatest asset. That’s why we’re thrilled to sponsor the industry’s leading personal finance curriculum, Dave Ramsey’s Foundations in Personal Finance. We’re providing it free of charge to Bishop Dunne Catholic High School and Ferris Junior High School.

The Last Inventory joined forces with Dave Ramsey, one of America’s most well-known financial experts, in March 2019. This relationship reflects The Last Inventory’s desire to impact our community in life-changing ways.

2019

We invested to help Foundations in Personal Finance be taught in two high schools throughout our service area. We’re also offering business mentorship with this program.

Jim King, Vice President of Ramsey Education Solutions, said, “We are thrilled to be working with The Last Inventory. They have demonstrated a strong commitment to financial education and empowering students with financial skills that will last a lifetime.”

Dave Ramsey’s Foundations in Personal Finance course is a comprehensive curriculum designed to provide students with sound financial principles that will guide them into adulthood. In the video, Ramsey and his team educate and entertain students as they learn how to avoid debt, build wealth, and give like no one else.

The course meets personal finance standards in all 50 states as well as national standards suggested by the Jump$tart Coalition for Personal Financial Literacy.
